About Yellow City Grind
Located at 4410 Bell St, Amarillo, TX 79109, Yellow City Grind operates as a coffee shop serving Amarillo in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6 amβ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Yellow City Grind at (806) 341-2070; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, m.facebook.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 185 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Amarillo and suggests consistent service.
Amarillo is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Amarillo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. I had the Amarillo by morning George Strait inspired coffee and I got it in the 52 oz, and it was so delicious. My splurge for the week.I've loved every coffee I've ever gotten from here.

Love the new flavors they come up with! Sourdough cinnamon roll is delicious, but they don't carry them everyday. This is the 2nd time I've driven over and they don't have them. Service is good

I LOVE the drinks, the atmosphere is very welcoming, I love how modern yet unique it is. I feel like the service can be a little faster, I get when its busy but sometimes when I go in and theres barely any im still sitting for atleast 10 minutes. Other than the wait time place is great, i love it, definitely would recommend to others!

A coffee shop with nice vibes, excellent service and tasteful coffee. They also have quality pastries to go with your coffee. They have attentive staff and service, faster even for walk ins. One interesting aspect is, I learnt that Amarillo is called βYellow cityβ after asking an employee here .. strongly suggest this place, I wish the adjacent cloths stories open when I am visiting this place

My husband and I stopped in for coffee this last weekend and were very happy with our drinks! I got an iced coffee with almond milk and sugar free sβmores flavoring. It tasted like the real syrup. Very flavorful! My husband got the Mudslide. It was super sweet, but just the way he enjoyed it! They even have gluten free food options in their bakery case. They work with food allergies and offer many alternative options to what you may need.
